The Registry Coupon is a safe, efficient and fast
instrument of payment made available to lawyers, bailiffs, notary
publics and insurance companies for the payment of court fees.
A Registry Coupon will include the following data:
- name of the beneficiary-registry
- the Lawyers' Financial Service that will pay the
relevant amount to the registry
- the amount of the Registry Coupon in figures
(the issuer can leave this open for the registry to fill in)
- the date of issuance
- the signature of the account holder whose
account will be debited
- the account number to be debited
- the reference of the case
- the Registry Coupon number
The Registry Coupons are covered by a confirmed bank
guarantee. This means the bank will pay them in all cases:
- even if the issuer's bank account does not have
enough funds
- even if the account is blocked
- even if the account has been cancelled in the
meantime.
The Registry Coupon is immediately payable, partial payments
are not allowed. Registry Coupons can be collected in two manners
without time restrictions:
- at the office of the Lawyers' Financial Services
(in the major court houses). The registrar will have them deposited
on the registry's account.
- by sending them by mail to the Operational
Centre of ING in Brussels at the address below. In this case
payments will be made to the account indicated by the
registrar.
